ENGLEWOOD BARBIE - "Full of Love, Respect, and REAL!"
Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, she’s not just a community organizer... she’s a force of radical compassion. Through her bold advocacy, creative outreach, and unapologetic love for her “Friends” experiencing homelessness, Englewood Barbie is creating safe spaces, second chances, and systemic change. Whether she’s on the streets delivering essentials, hosting healing events, or housing someone for the first time in years, she leads with grace, grit, and glam.
Her Mission
To provide shelter, safety, and hope for Chicago’s most vulnerable by meeting immediate needs and inspiring long-term change. We are building a community rooted in compassion, dignity, and radical love—one person at a time. Join the movement by partnering with us through funding, donations, or simply sharing the story.
Programs you can support
The Viaduct
Aleta feeds and supports 'The Friends' (unhoused individuals) every night during the winter. Shes raising
$1 million to build them a permanent shelter.
Hugs No Slugs
A program promoting peace and safety in honor of victims of gun violence. Provides youth with mentorship, resources, and safe events.
Club 51
A nightly outreach effort providing hot meals, clothes, and dignity to people seeking refuge outside police stations.
